HAP v9 and IIS 7 bindings

Hi Guys,

 

Have HAP 9 up and running in school. But struggling to get it working externally.

 

I have a URL hap.schoolname.sch.uk pointing to an internal IP 10.**.**.76 port 443. But when i try alter my bindings i cannot get it to work.

 

I have only set sites up using port 80 before so all i've had to do is in the binding change it to the IP and add the URL as the host and it works. But for https port 443 you cannot enter a host (URL) in.

 

Anyone be able to print screen theirs and show me?

We just used the internal IP and added the SSL Certificate. I have attached a screenshot for you to see.

Have you used NAT to pass it through for firewall?

Firewall etc all LEA managed. It's happened before when they haven't set one up right but just needed to check it was no different with https.
