Research topic idea in IT project management in UK schools

I'm currently exploring to find a good research topic for a thesis in Project Management for a masters in project management course - Looking to find a knowledge gap that might exist related to any area in PM i.e. risk management, Human resources, budgeting, funding, communication, supply, or anything else. I am particularly interested to carryout my research dissertation related to IT projects in UK Schools, I wonder if you guys can share with me some ideas, or point me to a knowledge gap that is not yet explored in project management.
