Adobe CS6 tmp files

Reading through these forums, there is still a major issue with CS6 not saving files to the network.

Why are the CS6 files saved with a .tmp extension. How is a teacher supposed to be able to check a students work?

As someone has allready reffered to this is expensive software, and I'm sure that schools will think twice before spending any more money with Adobe.

On Windows, if your user profile has non-default TEMP folder paths, when using the Photoshop Live Filter feature, you receive the following errors:

 

Internal error occurred

Could not render database

Could not complete your request. An error occurred.

As a workaround, reset the TEMP folder to the default location.

 

Right-click My Computer and select Properties.

Select Advanced > Environment Variables.

Ensure that the TEMP and TMP variables are pointing to the following directories:

TEMP = %USERPROFILE%\Appdata\Local\Temp

TMP = %USERPROFILE%\Appdata\LocalTemp

 

We use CS5.5 here, not heard of this issue before though.
