LCD projector replacement advice

Hi fellow AV Geeks.

I'm about to recommend that around 100 projectors are repaced with filtered and NOT filterless LCD projectors.

The disruption to classes and cost of cleaning countless filterless systems with compressed air cans is prohibitive.

I'd rather spend 30 seconds hoovering out a filter on a trusted system and so removing the dust/dirt out of the classroom than splattering dust onto desks and the floor and disrupting classes too.

 

The XE40 / PRM and a few other Sanyos are notorious for having filtered systems that perhaps did not work too well in warm/dusty/dirty environments.

 

Do any of you have any suggestions for an up-to-date short throw projector to replace XE40s/PRM-10s?

The Epson EB-X11 or EB-X12 great projectors that have filters as they still use the 3 lcd system.

+1 fpr the two Epson projectors they're brilliant, the filters are really easier to get out and clean as well. Not to mention the quick corner feature which is amazing!

Will the Epson projectors fit on a Promethean AB+2 mount or will it have to be retro fitted?

These 2 projectors are not short throw as far as I know.
