Suggestions for MagicInfo Pro Replacement

Hi everyone,

 

I've just started working in a school and they use MagicInfo Pro for the information boards throughout the school. I have found that adding content and to the program and getting them delivered out to the screens is very laborious and hit and miss in terms of the publishing. Do anyone use anything else the can recommend that might be easier to use?

We have one of these Samsung units and yes, the software is awful. We have a single slide that simply shows a web page, which then has it's various elements of content managed elsewhere. Custom built JavaScript rotates the elements in a 'Single Page Application' style, without the need for whole page refresh. We went through the various stages of attempting to wield their software and concluded it was best just to write this.

This will probably get deleted but, we have just replaced magic info at a college which had it on a number of screens because their staff found it so hard to use.
