Gongalong Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Hi folks, We might be moving O365 tenancies, with around 120 staff accounts to move. I have no experience of this at all, and one option is to farm it off to a thirdline consultant to do (RM do it, among others). I'm curious though as to whether it's just a case of exporting out each mailbox into a PST, or is there something more elegant? TIA
plexer Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 MigrationWiz and others can do it but there's a charge per mailbox, you can do imap migration but that only covers email not contacts or calendar otherwise it's .pst time. Ben
Edu-IT Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Creating multiple threads will just confuse things. Probably better to discuss your project in one?
Gongalong Posted November 6, 2013 Author Posted November 6, 2013 plexer: and presumably they still have to have each individual account name and password anyway? (I can't see how else it would work) I thought there might be some enterprise level tool for achieving it. Edu-IT: apologies, the questions are cropping up one by one, albeit on somewhat different topics.
plexer Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Unfortunately with a 3rd party solution yes you would need all the account details in order for it to be able to work, like a lot things you would think Microsoft would have tools to do this but they don't appear to have or don't want to make them available.
