Banging my head against the wall with this one, I'm getting "SNOVA directory not found. NOVA-T6 needs to know the directory in order to run it." when trying to load Nova T6 on some workstations. Works on my workstation, on another using my same Windows and SIMS login it does not which leads me to believe its not permissions on the SIMS folder on the server or it would not work with the same login on my station. Already search the forums and non of the fixes work.

Checked the NOVA.DIR file in the SIMS folder and it has the right path, and the folder it points to exists and the permissions are correct.

Don't know what to do next.

I've got the same issue as @Quackers on my terminal server which provides remote access to SIMS, etc.

I've copied and pasted my workstation (where Nova-T is working) sims.ini file to the C:\windows\ directory of the terminal server (W2003) but still no joy.

I've run SIMSInfrastructureSetup.exe which is my normal fallback to get Nova-T to work but still no joy.

What should I have to install or change to facilitate Nova-T working on a workstation that has SIMS installed?

Based on another thread I saw mention of a NOVA.DIR file, that's in our network SIMS folder. I copied this and put it in the local SIMS install directory and that resolved it. I'm not sure why Remote Apps don't look in the network folder.
