rad Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Teacher has a windows 8 sony laptop that apparently freezes. I've rolled it back to factory settings, how can I test this without giving back to teacher soi can see for myself? I used it tonight to Internet browse all ok.

Ultimate Boot CD - Overview CPUstress Memtest86+ That'll tell you if there are problems with the CPU or memory overheating or faults.
CHR1S Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Get a really thick cushion and or blanket, place on your lap, turn heating up to full, force laptop down into cushion/blanket so it blocks all the vents, play candy crush for several hours (sorry mark some work)
