Windows 8.1 Missing install files?

So I updated the windows 8 image to 8.1. Updated the unattained file and went to image a machine to test that the imaged worked and it comes up with an error message.

"windows can not install required files. Make sure all the files required for instillation are available and restart instillation"

I looked around a few places said it could be the ram so i tried it with new ram and still no luck. I am at a lost here and would greatly appreciate anyone who has any help on my sticky situation.
