We've got a promethean board that appears to be vibrating by about half a pixel which belive it or not is noticeable.

I've tried various refresh rates but they are all effected. Tried a different cable too. I believe the projector is at fault.

This makes reading text very nauseous.

Hi Gaz,

That sounds like a very strange probem.

It would be good to see a video of this issue in order that we can better see and advise of what the issue is.

Do you see the "vibrating" on the projector menu? If you don't then the issue is not being caused by the projector.

If you remove the VGA cable from the projector do you still see the vibrating screen (again this would point at computer and or a cabling issue.)

Does the cabling from the computer to the projector pass through any connection panels or wallboxes? If so if you bypass these and connect directly to the back of the projector does the issue

still appear?

Just out of interest what make and model of projector have you got?

Again a video would be useful so that we can see this so that we can better advise.

Thank you

It sounds like it could be a mains hum induced by running poor VGA next to power? - have you tried a laptop directly attached to the projector with all other cables disconnected and the laptop running on battery? if it still is wobbling with that try removing any keystoning on the projector - if still i think it's a projector fault.
