Hi,

I have installed the British language pack for Windows 8.1. In sysprep what option do i change for the language settings? Is it InputLocale, SystemLocale, UserLocale or UILanguage please? I assume i just change one of those to en-GB?

I assume InputLocale is the keyboard?

Thanks

why not just use the British English install media?

Where does one get that? I can't see it on the VLSC. I will still need to get Sysprep correct anyways.

The en-GB ISOs are on TechNet for some reason.

Where on Technet is this? I can only find that interface on MSDN which I don't have sub for.

Don't know why they can't just add this ISO to the VL Center. Then the Americans wonder why we hate them!!!!

i suspect its oversight not malice

That's the odd thing. The language is being set to UK by default, BUT the keyboard is defaulting to US!! It's driving me crazy. I tried the GPO trick for setting a default keyboard but sometimes it seems to default back to the US. So my best option would be to remove the US keyboard? I am not even sure why the US keyboard is being installed with the GB ISOs, maybe it is related to SCCM?? I have read elsewhere that keyboards can appear when things remote in.
