RFC Kyocera FS-C5350dn printer - Are these any good?

Hi,

I'm looking for a couple of new colour laser printers and came across the Kyocera FS-C5350dn.

Does anyone have any experience of these or know if they are any good. I've not used any Kyocera printers before and would like some opinions before buying.

They claim a 10,000 page capacity from the colour cartridges for £134 each which seems quite good, especially compared to our current HP's. Also there seems to be several remanufactured/compatible cartridges for a lot less so it seems it could be quite cheap to run.

All thoughts and opinions welcome :)

We're looking at the same one, have a few Kyocera's around the place and about as reliable as you'll get.

We have a 5400DN and it's fab - ugly, but fab! But the running costs for the 5350 are very similar and it's cheaper.

Do you mind if I can ask what price the printer is to buy ?

Had a quote from a very nice lady called Bethan ([email protected]) for around £480.

She's mental, but will usually get you a good price on almost anything IT related. :p

We've got two at an edu client, in fact both printers are the only printing provision for both staff and pupils on the school curriculum network... The printers are most certainly work horses, a nice upright design and very reliable, if for somewhat on the small side tonner collection box.

We've been using a company called Cartridge Stockroom, they've come in very reasonable with their own refilled cartridges.
