Stuart_C Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Hi there, Is there a way to increase the size of the C partition if it's NOT the last partition on the disk without deleting the other partitions or resorting to buying super expensive software for something that I only need to do once. *cough* Acronis *Cough*. Not bothered if I have to re-boot the server at this point in time.
MordyT Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Does easeus partition master work? They have a free version I think.
SHimmer45 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 if i was moving data around to change partition sizes id be taking a copy of the data and then using diskpart to manage the partitions, from what i have done before the partitions you are resizing to need to be in order. /waiting to be corrected
Domino Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Gparted is the way to go. GParted -- GParted - Moving Space Between Partitions Using GParted to Resize Your Windows 7 or Vista Partition Be careful, ensure you have backups, etc etc
