Acrobat MSI won't install (CS6 Master Collection)

Hello,

 

Have used the "Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition" to create a installation package of just Adobe Acrobat 32bit. It has created the package fine but doesn't istall it on any of the test machines (running W7, W8 and W8.1). I have even tried making a package with Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Acrobat. They all install apart from Acrobat. Is there a way to create a standalone MSI of Adobe Acrobat this is part of the CS6 master collection suite?

Acrobat has to be installed separately. If you used the AAMEE it should be in the Exceptions folder.

Is there a way to get this to have an unattend install using AcroPro.msi in the exceptions\AcrobatProfessional folder?

There should be a file called ExceptionInfo.txt in the exceptions folder. It has all the commands in there for you.

 

The command should be:-

 

msiexec.exe /i AcroPro.msi EULA_ACCEPT=NO REGISTRATION_SUPPRESS=YES SUITEMODE=1 INSTALLLEVEL=101 AS_DISABLE_LEGACY_COLOR=1 IGNOREAAM=1 TRANSFORMS=en_GB.mst /qn

 

Plus you can install the update afterwards by using:-

 

msiexec.exe /p AcrobatUpd1017.msp /qn

 

You might have to download the update.
