TechSupp Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Does anyone know if there is a requirement for schools to provide a laptop for NQT's? I know we dont have to provide them for qualified teachers and its at the schools discretion, but is that different for NQT's?
Sylv3r Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 No requirement as far as I am aware. The majority of our NQT's have their own, if anybody is struggling we loan them one or buy them one from the NQT pot.

However we supply laptops to NTQs based upon two criteria: NQTs should be working more than a given proportion of full time to qualify for a laptop from us [Not sure what the figure is but I believe it is above 0.5]
