Toshiba ST-20 keystone

Hi,

 

My first jo in the holidays is to shift a smartboard to another room an I have hit a snag. For some reason the ST-20 projector isn't changing the keystone when i go into the + bit. Really weird. The - goes way way down but when i click into the + and keep going to 30 it doesn't change the image. I only need it nudging 2 or 3 settings as its only just out but can't work out why... hope its not faulty.

 

Anyone seen this?

That functionality is by design and isn't a fault. The ST20 was designed to allow a (for the time) very high projection angle, so the digital keystone was configured to go from 0 to -60 (I think - it's a really old unit now!) instead of +30 to -30.

 

Try adjusting the angle of the projector mounting on the end of the boom arm first if you find you need to use positive keystone.
