Disable Office 365 web app Conversation View for whole organisation

OK, we are having an issue whereby some people are missing emails because they haven't disabled the Conversation View in the 365 Web App. Is there a way, maybe via Powershell, that I can disable this view globally across the school? It's annoying that by default conversations are switched on - I personally hate the view and it was one of the first things I disabled!

Hi,

I am not aware that this is a feature that has been released for Outlook Web App, although I know it has been requested by a lot of people. so it may be something that appears in the future....

--- If you use Office 2013 Professional Plus (Outlook 2013 Client), then you can do the following: ---

Do not use Conversational arrangement in Views

Group Policy registry path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\policies\microsoft\office\15.0\outlook\setup!upgradetoconversations

OCT registry path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\office\15.0\outlook\setup!upgradetoconversations

If you do not configure this setting, the Outlook 2013 views will display Date view as the default. Enable this setting to turn off Conversation arrangement and to prevent users from using Conversation arrangement in Outlook 2013. Disable this setting to turn on Conversation arrangement as the default Outlook view.

For further information see: Plan feature customizations in Outlook 2013

Thanks,

James.

That's a shame, trying to tell staff to switch the view is not exactly 100% reliable. And we are using Office 2010 on the laptops/desktops so ho-hum. If a solution comes up let me know
