Trouble Expanding window to full screen

Has anyone ever had trouble with expanding a thumbnail or from computer list to full screen? I double click on list view and nothing happens and when I try it on live thumbnails the little live thumbnail blacks out. Let me know what you all have done to fix this if you all had this problem. Thanks

Can you provide a little more information? Using IE? does it happen to every thumbnail/icon or is it a particular program ?
