whosagooner Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Hello, We have renamed an aspect (including its column heading) and can see that the marksheets are using the new name, but the column headings are still using the old name. Is there an easy way to address this rather than manually editing the column heading in each marksheet?
chrisateen Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Unfortunately I think the only way is to manually change the column headings. Changing the aspect name does not change the column name
whosagooner Posted October 16, 2013 Author Posted October 16, 2013 Thanks for the reply. Before I start this process I will raise a call with Capita to see if they can advise!
CarpeDiem Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Logged a call about this last year. I was told that as soon as aspects are in marksheets, you do have to do it manually
StevieTSS Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 I too have asked this question, of both Capita and our 3rd party support - unfortunately the resounding answer seems to be that it is manual update only - what a pain! Sometimes it's as long as it is broad, but if you take the aspects out and put them back in, it uses the new default values. It does of course depend on how many you are changing in a marksheet (and how complicated the formulas are). I had to rename some Geography assesment data entry columns this morning, and it was quicker to remove and add 5 columns than rename them individually - but they are just simple ones.
tpcc Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Try renaming the column heading in the template. For some reason when you rename the aspect only the aspect name changes automatically in the template - the column heading stays as it was.
