Hi all,

I had been setting up moodle for a few days and before I got to the part where I looked into backups I managed to trash the system by trying to grow the OS partition... long story, my bad etc. etc.

Anyways, before I broke it all I had gotten the calendar to a point I was happy with and was going to start the transition by getting everyone on to the school bulletin and to ease people over that way. Now, I am 99.99999% certain that before I broke it you could click the calendar from the front page and on the screen that appeared choose either User, Site or any course that I was enrolled on... I cannot for the life of me get that option to appear again. I realise I can go into the course and do it that way, I just wanted to simplify the process and allow staff to post to any course calendar that they are entitled to, from the front page.

Any ideas what I have done different and how I make this happen?

Cheers,

Michael

You haven't done anything different - I suspect you couldn't do what you expected beforehand. A teacher can only post user events on the front page and can only post course events from the course he or she is in. You as admin can post user or site events on the front page.
