Dragging and dropping folders & tracking students time on a subsite

Hi all

 

Two quick questions- I am working in a school where we are rolling out O365 and two queries have emerged that I need some help with.

 

At present we are not able to drag and drop folders which is going to be a bit of a pain as I have two teachers with large amounts of data in multiple folders. Is it a setting that we can change to get over it.

 

Question 2 is in relation to tracking students time on a subsite. A teacher wants to track the length of time that a student spends on the site. Is there an app that will solve that problem?

are you talking about exchange here or sp?

If it's Drag and Drop in SharePoint then you can just use Windows Explorer mode but beware it can be a tricky beast sometimes and times out or doesn't like a folder structure if too long etc!

 

I would like to see Drag And Drop on a site be able to handle Folders - wander if it's something MS has thought about

Really the answer I really need to get is on tracking student time on a particular subsite- I have now found out that teacher involved is currently doing some research for a Masters & O365 will be part of it if I can source an answer for it
