krb548 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Currently our school website is hosted by lancs county council (one connect) & we use joomla. I can download site data via FTP as we are moving provider so are going to host this ourselves. Does anyone know how I can get access to the myphp so I can download the database file associated with our site? Emailed one connect but not getting any joy.
dgsmith Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 (edited) If it's joomla then just install the akeeba module which backs up the mysql database. I migrated our site from Lancs to vidahost last week (we've also moved from the shoddy one connect) and it backed up everything.. no need to faff with something 3rd party.. If you get stuck just drop me a PM. I just hope you don't have a moodle install you want to transfer too as that wasn't exactly the best experience we had.. Edited October 5, 2013 by dgsmith 1
