We have an issue here that I can't quite get my head around and its driving me nuts! We have re directed folders including Downloads so downloads is redirected to %homeshare%%homepath%/Downloads

When a user logs in all their redirected folders create absolutely fine with full permissions to the folders now created in their area. Chrome is set up to save downloads in N:\Downloads but when you click on a link to say a word document it gives you a Save Location window rather than auto downloading. If i the user then removes the download folder and either recreates a folder called Downloads or clicks on the link again it will create the folder Downloads and then auto download the file without asking you where to save it. The folder is created with exactly the same persmissions / attributes. If i then remove the folder log out and log back in again allowing GPO to remake the folder it then breaks the save downloads location and the save location box comes back.....

Can anyone think of anything that i can try or think I'm doing something wrong?

Cheers!

A download directory is set as i said if delete and recreate the folder manually the download locations works perfectly. It just seems to be an issue with the initial folder creation using GPO
