Print Toner Monitoring

What do you guys use, if anything, to monitor toner levels of printers in your domain?

I want to make sure that we have enough toner on the shelf as we never know when someone will come to us to say their toner has run out. If I could monitor all the network printers for toner level that would help.

but not sure if its any good.

HP WebJetAdmin gets my vote. Email alerts to the helpdesk when the printer hits a defined threshold.

Ive got papercut for print credits and that has a screen that says about how much toner is left (how accurate it is im not sure) but might be a good way of killing 2 birds with one stone.

We had HP Printers and most gave toner statuses via the JetDirect card in them to Spiceworks so the SNMP was setup correctly and Spiceworks kept an eye on that and jobs a goodun Spiceworks would email an alert to say it was at level X (level we defined)
