Technician (Curriculum and Resource Support - Level 2) ICT Department

 

Salary: Scale £17,985.00 - £18,768.00 (SCP 15 - 17)

Contract Type: Full Time: (36 hours per week)

Contract Term: Initially until 31^st August 2014 (renewal subject to annual funding)Start Date: November 2013

Addington High School is a Ravens Wood Learning Trust Academy, serving the local community of New Addington. We are looking to appoint:

· An ICT Technician to be based within the ICT Technical Support team.

Under the instruction/ guidance of senior staff to provide day to day support of ICT systems within the school. To provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the ICT curriculum area.

The successful applicant will be supporting all users of ICT at the school, helping students access all aspects of the ICT from basic logging in, to using the printers, to more detailed troubleshooting that may be required.

Ideally applicants should have relevant previous experience in the following areas:

· Practical experience of ICT hardware and Windows operating systems.

· Common desktop applications, e.g. Microsoft Office, SIMs.net.

Visits to the school would be actively welcomed.
