Disabling content advisor

Hi,

 

I have a problem with disabling content advisor and hope someone can help.

 

Before we invested in a management system to block websites etc, we set up content advisor on our DC and pushed it out with policy to block student websites. However, we have since disabled content advisor within IE and removed the policy but our students are still getting the blocked content message pop up.

 

Is there a way to get rid of this?

look in registry and delete these keys

User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\

Ratings]

System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\

Ratings] Close Internet Explorer, re-open it, and the Content Advisor feature should now be disabled
