In any case, I'm always a little suspicious of these kinds of 'studies' as anything other than marketing fodder (of course, to a college or other place that has to compete for students, marketing fodder can be quite valuable).

 

For example: "75% said Wi-Fi access on campus helps them earn better grades". That's nice and everything but how much of that 75% are correct, how many are talking out of their ass and how many are making an honest mistake in their claims?

Sorry but this is an L O L moment, just like if you asked them can they live without their mobile phone and they will say no. BUT if they actually had no choice but to live without out I can promise you they will still be alive and kicking.

 

You are asking kids who still are trying to figure out their way in life, still trying to work out what they want to do when they leave school. This popped up in a recent meeting "ask the kids what they want". I have yet to meet any parents who live by that, give them what they want for dinner, lunch and breakfast. Let them go out till they want to come home, let them stay in bed till they want to get up. How many kids say they hate school and don't want to go in - I hear a lot of them...
