mac_shinobi Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I just get the blue spinning mouse cursor and no error page and it almost brings my web browsers ( chrome at the min ) to a grinding holt until I close the tab and re open a new tab and come back and it is hit and miss if I can do what I am trying to do or if it does the same again
elsiegee40 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I just had the hang in the android app too. I backed out of the whirling circle and discarded the post, but the thread had actually been updated
elsiegee40 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 And again "Failed to connect"... left hanging... but actually posted
X-13 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 And again "Failed to connect"... left hanging... but actually posted Press back when it hangs [should just close the loading box and allow you to edit your post] and try to post again. If it tells you you've already posted, then you can safely go back to the thread, if it goes through then it really did fail to connect.

I actually said that a couple of posts earlier. @ZeroHour... this is getting worse. It is a total pain to use I reckon I am getting it on 80% plus of my android app posts. On the main site version, it is taking me 3 or 4 attempts to get into the threads as it displays the thread, and then flashes out.
X-13 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I knw... I actually said that a couple of posts earlier. I didnae see it.
ZeroHour Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Just an update, the other weirdness with not loading content should be fixed and is unrelated to the page not found error. Is the page not found error resolved now?
mdench Posted October 3, 2013 Author Posted October 3, 2013 Just got clicking new posts and this thread
sparkeh Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Just an update, the other weirdness with not loading content should be fixed and is unrelated to the page not found error. Is the page not found error resolved now? No, still getting it regularly.
ZeroHour Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Yep, still getting errors. I am rolling out a batch of updates tonight, out of interest what browser are you using?
elsiegee40 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 (edited) I am rolling out a batch of updates tonight, out of interest what browser are you using? I have had it on the the default android browser in the full theme a couple of times this evening... I have only barely been on edugeek today, so that's quite a lot! sparkeh Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Oh yeah been really bad for me today, particularly between toughly 2pm-3pm Using Chrome/Chromium App has been fine for me. Will see what happens tomorrow.
ZeroHour Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Made a few changes to scripts. Its a nightmare to diagnose as it rarely happens to me.
sparkeh Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 So this is back again. Not had it since the post above but happening regularly again today.
Soulfish Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Yup just had it when loading the site a second ago
Devontechie Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 (edited) I've just had this twice.. Once viewing the Stocktober2 thread and then trying to view the home page. EDIT: everytime I try to view the Stocktober2 thread i get the error. Also, it took 4 attempts to get back to this page to post this! Edited October 31, 2013 by Devontechie
Soulfish Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Just had it solidly on everything I tried to load for the last 30-40 seconds. Must have got it a good 10-15 times!
