Groan 'a can you just' call!

Just got in from work to receive a call from a retired friend 'can you just have a look at our computer, my wife did something to it earlier and I can't find most my files now'. Not a problem though as that's what friends are for, just hope I can actually help when I get there!

Always fun, and for a friend I always say "I'll see what I can do, though if it's something too serious, I might have to charge a bit for it as it will be taking up time I could be doing bits for other clients" and most of the people on 'mates rates' get that these days .. the other option being, I'll look at it when I can but I've got X Y Z on at the moment so it might be a week or so ..
