StevieM Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 After spotting the Movember thread started yesterday, I thought I'd post about a charity event I'm holding on Sunday. My beard has long divided opinion between those who think it's aweSOME and those who think it's awFUL, so it's time for both sides to put their money where their mouths are. Basically, I want £1000 to shave off my beard. Those who want me to keep growing it must bid against the shavers. If, by 5pm the day, there is £1000 more in the shave fund than the grow fund then the beard comes off. If not, we roll over the totals and do the whole thing again next year. Anyone who lives in Liverpool is more than welcome to come along to Blues Bar in Crosby on Sunday to enjoy an afternoon of live music and fundraising. All proceeds will go to CLIC Sargent, the UK's leading children's cancer charity. Feel free to take part in this fun poll. If you'd like to make an online donation at either www.justgiving.com/shouldishave or www.justgiving.com/shouldigrow, that would be even better. Thanks Should I Shave or Should I Grow? 2

Andrew_C Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Bigger than mine; but is it as old? I've been "manly" since 1982...
happymeal Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 If you shave there will be trouble - if you grow, there will be double!
sidewinder Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Grow it! Would be a waste to get rid of such a fantastic beard! 2
StevieM Posted September 16, 2013 Author Posted September 16, 2013 Thanks for all the compliments! :-) @happymeal - If I grow there will be double. If I shave there will be stubble! (I've got a whole song that I perform about it.) 1
