Dune

Many of you here ever play Dune II, Dune 2000 or Emperor battle for dune?

 

Seeing as I'm trying to avoid the GTAV excitement as a PC only gamer I decided to go and get myself some nostalgia today, found a modified Dune 2000 installer and now playing through that again for the first time in probably 12 or so years.

I loved dune II, wasn't too fond of dune 2000.

Yep played all the dune games but first was just excellent and i lost many hours to it.

and oui, I loved emperor for dune.. except those damn Tleilaxu units that would jump on your tanks and drain energy unless you shot them off!

i once started a dune 2 session after getting in from uni probably 5PM.... got up to get a coffe and it was 3AM.....

Right i've got Dune 2000 and Emperor Battle for Dune working nicely on windows 8.1 64bit at last, took a while to overcome all the problems but luckily it seems lots of fellow nerds found the same problems haha

 

Best bit of EBfD...the music! I play harkonnen simple for the music alone I really wish they'd make a new Dune game.....but not with any EA input.
