speckytecky Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 We have a Smart Unifi35 Projector that was working fine at he end of last term but this week it's displaying pixel dots at various places on the screen. I have used the Smart Cleaning tool to no avail and the lens face is ok. The bulb was changed in June. Any thoughts and suggestions please?
VeryPC_Colin_F Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Hi SpeckyTecky, Its is a bit of a strange one to be fair. It could be a defecctive DLP chip or a bulb Problem. Do you have a Picture of the projection? that would help Thanks. 1
xenonive Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Its will be a defective DLP chip , 100's of defective chips were made , we have found almost 50% of our first gen Casio laser projectors have had the same issue, Casio have swapped then out onsite free of charge but takes about 3 days for engineer . 1
speckytecky Posted September 5, 2013 Author Posted September 5, 2013 Thanks both. Yes Stelges confirm it's most likely the chip but they won't repair as they say it's out of warranty! 1
VeryPC_Colin_F Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Not a problem @speckytecky. Here to Help.
