strawberry Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 I've been having problems with the keyboard in office 2007. the machine is imaged from another one that works fine, and office was installed using a mst so shoudl be the same. bascially the problem is as below When I type " I am getting the @ sign and visa vers, also when I type £ I am getting #, whilst when I type # I get the \ key its fine as an admin, but as other users we get the above senario.
DSapseid Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 is it set to use the correct type of keyboard in the language settings?
rhyds Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Silly question, but have you checked the keyboard mapping in other programs? It could be the keyboard settings in the region options, but that's a long shot.
dodgydave Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 I agree with the others. It sounds like you have a US keyboard selected in the language options.
strawberry Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 hello guys, sorry bout that! , It seems to be set to an american keyboard. question is how the heck did that happen and can i change it in GPO.
