Multiple iCloud Backups on local machine?

Our school is starting to purchase several iPads. They will be in multiple departments. I'm wondering if I can use one iPad to create other 'images' in iCloud and store those mackups locally to image iPads locally as needed on the fly?

 

For example: If I made an iCloud image of my itouch for science, and one for k-3 reading, can I store the icloud backups on my laptop and quickly make my itouch a science/k-3 reading itouch on the fly?

Hi Jmair,

 

If you get a OS X device, you can use apple configurator to do this, you build one with all the Apps, Books, Profiles, Wireless Profiles etc you need on there and then back it up to the local Mac, once this is done you can deploy this via USB to the multiple devices. We have done this for 90 classroom units. Essentially I configured one and then deployed the image onto the rest Apple Configurator even sorts out the naming of each device for you.
