Hi Nick,

Thanks - as always - for your work in HAP+.

Two bugs in 9.4 observed in fresh install:

1. For the domain administrator user, a 'Null' appears in the "Me" tile in the main screen. It seems if a user has a samaccountname but no friendly name, a null is shown.

2. If an administrator creates a new link name for the homepage, using the interface (or by editing hapconfig.xml directly) - i.e 'Test' - the four link labels are displayed (e.g. Resources, Management, Me, Test) but all of the icons/buttons for all four of the links are displayed at logon under 'Resources' and the other links don't do anything.

Right now, when I logon, 'Me' tile, 'Helpdesk', 'HAP+ Config' are all displayed under Resources. This happens as soon as I create a new link on the home page, using the admin interface.

Hope you can help!

Yours

Hokey dokey. Are there any temp folders or cache files that I can easily empty on the server (in addition to blasting the hapconfig.xml file), or is it best to just delete the whole hap tree and start again?

Thanks

Hi,

I've found the problem, and this seems to be a new issue with v9.

If a link on a page contains brackets, e.g. a tile with the name "VLE (Usual login)" then the homepage breaks, with all of the icons showing on one page.

This did not happen on v8.

Please advise.

Thanks

Moby
