AB Tutor control not working on newly imaged pc's

Hi Folks

 

A strange one. we have recently upgraded to AB v7. we have updated the existing clients from within AB which is fine. all is well so far. However, on newly imaged pc's, the client is installing but it is not being seen at all on the teacher control PC. I've got this problem in all my ICT rooms as all have been imaged. Prior to imaging, running version 6 was fine. Now nothing. Firewall is turned off internally.

 

Any ideas?

Have you tried running the installer again and do a repair does that work?

I have tried that. still no joy. I even tried a manual install, still nothing. I forgot to mention, AB is pushed out via GPO

Have you checked license keys fot teacher machines are set up / installed? i seem to remember doing this via the AB tutor website, its been a while since we set it up though so cant remember exactly how to do it.

Why use Group Policy to deploy? there is an excellent Remote Deployment Utility in ABTutor that we use.
