Looks to me like there was already something wrong when the train came into shot. The carriages just went in a straight line as though there were already decoupling from the power car at the front and back.

Maximum Line Speed Limit: 80Km/h

Train Speed at Derailment: 180Km/h

 

That is double the speed limit, the Spanish equivalent of RAIB will crucify both the driver and the train operator. This is why we set limits on how fast trains go as track is rated for a particular speed based on it's construction methods and environment.
