We're still feeling our way around our new CC3 network and have a weird problem with our standard user profile:

Standard users can't print from MS Access 2003 (they can print from other office applications) I know the setting will be in the profile somewhere but can't find it. Short of making all my users advanced, can anyone tell me what setting to change?

What possible security problem there could be with printing from Access eludes me, but that's RM for you. :D

regards,

Ian

what about restricted users can they print from access?

I have just had a slight hiccup with access 2003 in that it would not allow users to run reports or queries. What i found out was that the drivers for the printers installed in that room had become corrupted and therefore not mapped to the computers in that room. Resolution to problem was to go to server where printer had been installed >printer properties> advanced tab> driver drop down> pick any driver from drop down and apply> then click new driver and install new driver files from disk or other source. This has rectified the problem.
