Did you not see the silver spoon! That explains the weight of the baby, who actually was only 7lbs 6ozs. The other pound being the weight of the spoon. 1

At 8:30, when I realised the program I wanted to watch wasn't going to be shown (I was periodically flicking back from BBC2 to check - learned a bit about Curry, nice), I actually went to BBC complaint's site and put in an official complaint. Can't remember what I put exactly but I did end with... Even the second coming wouldn't need 2hr's to announce his birth!

There are no photos, no interviews with strangers in the crowd, no pictures of the outside of the hospital and no Town Crier in silly costumes. No guns firing, no bells ringing, no quotes from Aunties, Grandparents, Great-grandparents. No notices on any easels etc. etc.. Congratulations, but surely it's worth cutting and pasting your good news over 100 threads for the next couple of days - you, just in case one of our members misses it!
