cpjitservices Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Where is the best / cheapest place to get Windows 7 (home Premium / Starter etc) Nowadays ? I also need a copy of Office 2010 with Outlook - anyone know anywhere cheap that sells them with single user licenses ? I have a friend that has bought her laptop from her ex employer, ex-company has now gone under. Laptop is now asking for activation with a new key! Any Ideas - its been a long time since I bought single licensing!! Thanks In Advance everyone!

VeryPC_Tom_M Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Cheap Office 2010 is going to be the sticking point. To get Office 2010 with Outlook, you're probably looking at Home and Business 2010... which is selling for £235 on Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-Office-Home-Business-Product/dp/B0039L50J8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1374497714&sr=8-2&keywords=ofice+2010)
MattHarwood Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Office 365 Home Premium comes in at £8 a month / £80 a year, and includes full desktop versions of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Onenote Publisher and Access. Buy Microsoft Office 365 Home Premium - Office.com I seem to remember Viking Direct were doing Windows 7 Home Premium (full not upgrade) for around the £40-50 mark recently.. might be worth a look
cpjitservices Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 (edited) ok thanks folks, OEM Versions would be great - A few months ago - said friend paid £189.99 for Office because they need Outlook but this was for her PC not her laptop. There is a sticker yes, BUT it's worn away and the keys cant be quite made out nor can you tell what version the key is for. Currently said friend is running XP Pro! There's quite a few bargains regarding what I need on ebay.... sounds daft I know but some of them are unboxed still sealed - which would mean they havent been activated this wouldnt cause me any problems - would it ?
