Security marking with engraver. What to use as a stencil?

Hi,

 

We were going to go for the chemical markers to mark our equipment but just thought of using a engraver to do it. Appart from leaving colour behind it essentially does the same thing but on all materials.

 

The only problem is that my writing looks rubbish so wondered if anyone has any ideas on stencils we could use that wont disappear after a few uses.

 

Any ideas?

I wouldn't worry. I have terrible writing and did it at my last place. Just write slow and steady and in caps. You don't want to be engraving tons anyway, just postcode and maybe school name.

Get some acrylic and run off a couple of stencils of your template at different sizes.

That sound cool! Unfortunatly not though.

 

Weve got 100 stencils from when we used to use the chemical stuff and they seem to work for two pc's. Only problem is that its got a incorrect post code on now. Will carry on using these for now and then might go free hand.
