Access exchange on android and idevices

This one has been bugging me for years and i cannot think what is stopping it from working. I have been trying to setup push email etc on my devices with exchange 2010 but been failling everytime. I can setup IMAP without any problems but cannot get the inbox, or calendars to sync via an exchange setup.

 

Ive got my certificate which is working fine, if i access autodiscover.domain/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml i get an error 600 in return.

 

I forgot to mention we have smoothwall as our firewall.

 

Can anyone point out any basic things i may have overlooked.

 

Edit: maybe this thread should be called how to setup activesync so users can access emails on their phones
