TVs with lockable buttons

I am looking for a TV which will enable us to lock the buttons on the TV so no one can fiddle with the channels and is about 46" - 52" in size. Is there such a thing? Most of the TVs i have seen you cannot lock the buttons to stop students fiddling with the channels.

Our large TV in staffroom has buttons on side, and we've just built a perspex box around the controls

Our Samsungs here at the moment have buttons on the side but dont really want to modify the TV itself.

 

As for the proper digital signage stuff, i bet they are expensive... I only need 1 TV that does this. Its planned to go in the Post16 area which is why you can see why i need something that enables this feature.

The box is attached to the wall, not TV I meant But aye, depends where they're being attached I guess.

LG have hotels TV's - you can lock the buttons on these and reduce the functions if required. You can also set a volume limit on them too!

We bought couple of Samsung Commercial displays recently, 32" for less than £300 each can set timers, lock buttons etc etc.

Panel is lockable.

Buttons do nothing when enabled.

All commercial DOOH screens will have the facility within set up to restrict button useage. I used to install AV equipment and as others have said Samsung will do this, I know Phillips and LG will also for sure. Pricing wise they aren't that much different from standard screens. MicroP / Midwich are the main distribution resellers but I think they only sell the trade.
