HP Printer software popup on logon

We use a number of HP PSC 1610 printers on our network.

As part of the HP software, it installs the HP Product Assistant and automatic software update notification.

 

I'd rather just disable the Product Assistant and the update checker entirely, as they both create popups for each user when the logon.

 

Anyone know any tips on how to accomplish this?

Yes I do

go to run type "msconfig" it will be under services or start-up, just uncheck the box. Please be careful what you uncheck
