mole Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Note - I'm just posting details: Vacancies and how to apply - University of Exeter select Exeter and search Job title Learning Spaces Support Technician Application closing date 14/07/2013 Location Exeter Salary Starting salary £19,056 on grade D (in the range £19,056 - £22,020) & Job title Learning Spaces Support Assistant Technician Application closing date 14/07/2013 Location Exeter Salary £15,303 (in the range £15,303 - £17,503) Details: Learning Spaces Support Team This post is a one year fixed term position within the Learning Spaces Support team which is part of the Learning Spaces Division within Student Services, providing audio visual (AV) and IT support services to all staff, students and visitors within the University of Exeter. The post holder will be part of a customer focused team of technicians providing excellent AV/IT support services to enable room users to make the best use of the AV and IT facilities at their disposal. This role will primarily be providing AV/IT support at the University's Exeter Campuses. Reporting to the Learning Spaces Team Leader, you will have a central role in the support of AV/IT services and you will work closely with other members of the team; and will support colleagues from other teams within the university. The role will be required to work a 36.5 hour week over 5 days, flexing shifts to cover an 8am-6pm window. You will be required to undertake additional hours and weekend support for bookings and conferences. The ideal candidate will have good well developed AV/IT support skills and must be willing to learn and develop themselves in this area. Just as important as technical ability and excellent troubleshooting is a positive attitude, and candidates must be able to demonstrate professional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
