Hi

We have three digital Samsung signage that have being working well till now. Just couple of days ago, the lady incharge of them complained that they are not displaying information properly any longer and the software is currently running on XP machine. So I was wandering if installing it on a Windows 7 machine will make any difference. Please help.

Many thanks

Hi Tushan

what other issues are you having, as like my place we only use them to display powerpoint files unless you put this on a loop on both powerpoint and the MagicInfo software this will seem to display about 2 pages on the Samsung TV'S

Hi RobWatson

Many thanks for the response to my post. I don't really get to use it at all apart from the very first time that was setup and then handed over to the lady that manages it. I only come to know of things when they are not working as the school technician. So if you don't mind, we can talk off camera and let you talk to this lady directly.

Kind regards

Yup, more detail definitely required as to the specifics of the information that they won't show 'properly'. Screenshots / photos would help for instance. The software runs fine on Win7 and WinXP in terms of the managing machine, and doesn't make any difference at all to what they will or won't display. The OS / software on the MagicInfo screens themselves determine what they can and can't do.

The school logo is a .png file with a transparent background which has been working fine for over 2 years. Then we come in and find that the logo is no longer being displayed and we cannot get the library to accept a new .png file. A few days later the whole template goes black - we have created another one which seems to work fine but still no ability to show .png files.

when i was setting up mine i had to install powerpoint viewer from Microsoft the other issue is if the software has been returned back to its last state. I'm wondering if this has only been turned off recently and this is the reason why you are having issues?
