Smoothwall - Modules

Having a moan today why is it smoothwall Advanced firewall you then have to purchase the Deep Packet Inspection module?

 

Smoothwall isnt the cheapest filtering around these days, schools that need the highest level of protection for safe guarding there students surely this should be a feature and not a purchased module?

As its something significantly more than just a firewall and has a license cost for them as its using technology brought in from a 3rd party like the replacement AV with Vipre did and the Anti-Spam module etc.... I am still very impressed with what you get for the system
