Using AppInventor with Google Apps for Education account

Hi there,

 

I'm thinking of signing up for a new domain and a Google Apps for Education account for our school - just really so that we can sign kids up for it and use it with AppInventor (online web app for creating android apps from what I can tell).

 

Anyone got any experience of using their Google Apps for Education accounts with this? Can they sign in using the same credentials? Without needing to have an external (unmanageable by us) Google ID?
