Activteach causes audio output to stop

Hi,

 

Our science dept are using activteach under Windows 7. They have found that after using the application for a period of time, the audio output on the PC stops. No sound plays from AT or YouTube etc. The only solution is to restart the computer. We have tried updating the sigmatel audio driver, and have switched to a USB audio adaptr with a different chipset but the issue still occurs!

 

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm assuming something in AT is killing off the audio driver perhaps?
