bertster Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 We have two users who have just been migrated from hotmail to Office 365 by M$. Both are having the same issue with missing contacts when using Office 365 in school. The people tile is empty and nothing is displayed when using the TO link when composing an email. When using Office 365 at home(on the same laptop) everything works ok. Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks
MYK-IT Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I may be wrong, but I am sure that if you are accessing Office365 via a web browser the "To" section is using cached information. So as you start to manually type the recipients name if it has been used before within that browser (on the same computer) it will auto complete. Just like you can also remove recipients from the auto-complete list too. In all cases though, contacts should always be viewable in the address book(s) etc.
bertster Posted June 11, 2013 Author Posted June 11, 2013 Yes, accessing via a web browser and indeed the "TO" section does autocomplete when used at home but not in school. You can also click on the "TO" which should load the 'people' (Contacts), but just refuses to when in school. Same laptop / same logon @ home & school.
themightymrp Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Old thread but did you resolve this? I've just started to get it with one user. She click the People tab and all her contacts are there. But when composing a new email or forwarding/replying, if she clicks on either the 'To' button or the '+' button, the list is empty. But not always! It fails maybe 4 times in every 5. Only started yesterday. I've deleted all cached internet files/cookies and even deleted her network profile. Will also mention she is using Win7 with IE10
